Comments about Full Tilt Boots Konflict:

Wow , these are great boots . They are very comfortable , warm and light on the feet . Now coming from a dalbello boot it took some getting use to for the latching system . It takes a while to fine tune it . On the thee hand the liner is great and it only took a couple days to mold to my feet . Overall they are a great freestyle all mountain boot . They are stiff so if you only ride the park I would suggest a softer model .

Comments about Full Tilt Boots Konflict:

I was born into an entire family of expert skiiers, and have skied since i could walk. However, I was also born with a severe club foot leaving me with a 2 size differential and very limited movement in my right foot. I have constantly had problems with getting my foot securely locked in my boot, and I constantly suffered pain. This all changed when i got my pair of Konflicts. I can honestly say that it was one of the best feelings not to be struggling with my foot shifting in and out of carves, and just about anything else. Maximum customization allows me to use an 8 flex on my stronger left, and a 6 flex tongue on my right, giving me a similar feeling flex for the first time ever! These boots are perfect for any expert skiier, and Full Tilts in general are essential for anyone who suffers from similar problems to me. Thanks FT!!

Comments about Full Tilt Boots Konflict:

I use these for all mountain. I tell friends that they are warm, cushy, comfortable bedroom slippers that just happen to be able to ski bumps.
The liner has packed a bit over the first 30 days of use. A thin stout foam footbed under the liner fixed that, and made them all the cushier!
Warm unlike any other boot I ever experienced. The flip side is that in temps higher than about 30 F, my feet sweat rather profusely, enough so that they slip around inside the boot a bit. Never had this happen with any other boot.
I knew these were special boots by about the third turn I made on them the first day out. These boots clearly enable me to ski more capably and powerfully. A long time ski buddy told me he had to re-calibrate what he looks for when picking me out in a crowd because my ski style changed quite noticeably.
These boots disprove that my old conclusion that a ski boot could not provide performance and be warm at the same time due to the requisite tight fit impairing blood circulation.
Seems the locus of this boot's amazing performance is that resilient, responsive, springy tongue that flexes so naturally. The axis of this flex also is right where the natural axis of my heel/instep happens. My boots hinged about an inch and a half higher up on the ankle shaft, a quite unnatural and uncomfortable feeling after getting used to the FT's.
I will say that these FTs require more tweaking than my old boots.
I am currently setting the cables loose when putting them on first thing, skiing a run, and then tweaking them down. It seriously seems that the liners expand overnight.
Overall, awesome boots, I am thrilled!

Comments about Full Tilt Boots Konflict:

Overall the Konflict has been a solid boot. Getting a dialed fit definitely has been a challenge. The three-piece design makes it incredibly easy for getting in and out, even on the really cold days. The 8 flex tongue is just right for me, and I like to ski anything from steeps and pow to park.

Watch out on the mondo point system sizing, Full Tilt is different from other companies. I switched from Salomon and got into a boot that has been just a little too small.

Also these liners pack out quite a bit for me after about 30 days of riding. I had to order a smaller lower cable (the one across the top of the foot) since the they packed out so much and I wasn't getting the tightness I needed.

Lastly I put my custom footbeds in these to get the support I needed. They will fit, just have to get them heat molded with the footbeds in there.

I have been skiing for 31 years; 26 of those years have been on either a competitive, professional, instructor or patroller capacity. I have never had a boot that so perfectly executes its function and at the same time they are second only to my flip flops in comfort. Buy Full Tilt Boots! BUY FULL TILT BOOTS!

I wear a size 12 street shoe. With some help from a long time 3 piece boot skier/bootfitter, I managed to squeeze into a pair of size 10 2009 FT Knoflicts. Toe caps hurt. It was worth it though. Great boot, pleanty warm- it gets cold over here in Wisco/UP. I wear a very, very thin sock with these & am never cold.Easy in & out, & the 8 flex transfers the power well on the steeper stuff.

Comments about Full Tilt Boots Konflict:

Who would I recommend this boot to??
Advanced / expert skier who is looking for a freeride boot with the performance of race boots, without the toe-jam, shin-bang or pinching. The konflict is perfect!

                      PRO Intuition Liner ...
The PRO Intuition liners are amazing! Get them properly fitted and ski them for a few days to flex in. I normally use footbeds to align, but the intuition liner molds to the sole of my feet and it feels like I am floating on air. WOW

                      Sizing ...
These are true to size, but beware that they are still a high-performance boot with a narrow width. Because of the intuition liner (which is HUGE before you heat and mold), YOU CANNOT PROPERLY TRY BEFORE YOU BUY!!!

                      Some little gripes
                      * The cable buckle system is great, but has a tendency to slip sometimes. I see that they have brought in a hybrid traditional alu buckle system on some of the models.
                      * Adjusting the canting is a pain. There are little plastic tabs which you have to change on the size of each boot ... avoid if possible

                      QUICK FIT LINER TECHNOLOGY

                      MOLDS 100% TO FEET!
                      MOLDS 100% TO FEET!
Full Tilt Quick-Fit™ liners use authentic Intuition® foam that is body heat activated to mold 100% to your feet during use, or can be instantly heat molded by a shop in minutes.
                      WARM
                      WARM
Unlike conventional liners, our 100% foam construction is air tight with reduced seams to retain body heat like a wetsuit.
                      LIGHT
                      LIGHT
No heavy plastic parts or fillers. The lightweight foam construction makes your entire boot feel lighter.
                      J-BAR
                      J-BAR
An additional J-shaped piece of foam is inserted internally on both sides of the ankle area to dramatically increase ankle hold down, to keep your feet perfectly in place for precise control.
                      POWERWRAP
                      POWERWRAP
An additional layer of ergonomically shaped High Density Intuition® closed cell foam is wrapped around the outside of the upper liner to increase energy transfer and horsepower to the shell.
                      PRO LAMINATE CONSTRUCTION
