Comments about Full Tilt Boots Seth Morrison:

    Update:

I prefer to ski without any insole. They are soooo comfortable. The 8 Flex is absolutely perfect for me. I am 200 lbs. and like to carve as fast as I can.

    Cons:

The original buckles on the 2011 Seth Morrison's are not that strong. I wish I had the wide-track buckles; as my middle buckle is almost broken already after 7 days on the mountain.

Also, parts are listed as "not available - check back soon". I wish the parts were always available to I do not have to worry if I do have cable or buckle break.

Comments about Full Tilt Boots Seth Morrison:

In my teens, I had a pair of hot pink Raichle Flexon's (the exact model escapes me) which I grew out of. Since then I have skied in Salomon, Lange, Rossi and Nordica boots. While the Nordica's served their purpose as racing boots, I have always had issues with warmth (I suffer from Raynaud's Phenomenon which, aside from its awesome name, results in restricted blood flow to my fingers and toes) and comfort (shinbang!!). After a season of blue toes and purple shins, I finally sprung for a pair of Full Tilt Morrison boots and, so far, have absolutely loved them. The smooth flex and great fit translate into a great feel on the hill, but the most important thing for me is the warmth and comfort. They have been more comfortable than any boot I've worn since my old Flexons (except, perhaps, for a pair of Salomon 1080s, but those were too soft to of any use out of the park) since the first day and have only gotten better: shinbang is non-existent and my toes have been kept reasonably warm (I ski mainly in New England, so one can only expect so much in -28C). The rubber sole is brilliant as well, because they are so easy to put on I find myself traversing the parking lot in them alot. Like others, I have had two buckles break on me thus far and they are a bit trying to get dialed in- I had to go in to the lodge about 5 times on the first day because I couldn't adjust the boot without taking my glove off. Now that they are dialed in, however, they are amazing! I highly recommend these boots to anyone who skis hard, wants a reasonably stiff boot and has had issues with comfort in the past.

Comments about Full Tilt Boots Seth Morrison:

The fit is really, really comfortable. I never even had to unbuckle before getting on chairlift; which I have to typically do with all really tight race-fit ski boots.

I skied fast GS turns like a pro today. These can carve turns, pop in the park, and dice moguls with no problem. First time ever not having numb feet or complaining that my feet hurt. The "8" flex tongue is perfect for hard charging ex-racers - no need for 10 flex in my opinion.

I have about 10mm shell fit. I would recommend using either custom insoles, soles, downunders, or Masterfit EZ insoles for footbeds, as they do not come with any. I skied the first time with these today without any insole. I will try an insole next ski day and report back.

Comments about Full Tilt Boots Seth Morrison:

Hello thys is my second pair of this boots, the first one was a 26 now i buy a 25.5 because here it's impossible to find the 25, but my first impression it's the difference of tongue dimension between the 26 and the 25.5, in the 25.5 is wery small and really hight flex, i see that it can work also for smaller dimension and the 25.5 is the bigger size that he can reach, so for this reason is very flexible.
So for my point of view the price is very hight considering the approximate construction, but is really creazy the difference between flexion from size 25.5 to 26 they seems two defference boots.
I hope that with the new buckles that are very small the cable never bind due to the small contact part.
I hope that if something breaks will easily available, even if you do not find here on the site.
Finally i think the boot is too expensive in relation to its quality.

After replacing the Intuition liner with one of my Krypton liners, they fit perfectly. The Intuition liner just takes up too much volume for me.
142 days on them last year and 18 so far this year.
They could use new soles but I'm having a hard time contacting the rep.

Comments about Full Tilt Boots Seth Morrison:

The graphics are really sick this year. I love the snow camouflage. The buckling system is stronger than the years before and they hold your foot better too. The 8 flex tongue is perfect for a big mountain skier but is a little bit stiff for a park skier, but you can always buy another tongue that is softer. The boot is very warm and light and cradles your foot very nicely.

I have last year's model of Seth M. and love them. So far I have 41 days on them with no problems and they excel in all conditions. In hindsight, it is all about the flex and you can't really appreciate the differences while trying them on in the shop. And even though you get custom fit, it doesn't really break in until 5-7 days. No matter what price you pay, you end up better off. Oh yes, it can drive big skis and you`ll have fun doing it.

I use the Seth Mo's for absolutely everything and they are awesome! The flex of the boot is the best that i have found in any full tilt boot i have owned. I use it in the park, pow and just general shredding around the mountain. The best fitting boot for me as i have a very narrow foot. It feels super tight yet comfortable. The metal buckles are also the best thing in my eyes. I had problems in the past with the plastic buckles breaking. So far, these have lasted much longer!

                  BUY THESE BOOTS.

Poor construction with buckles that break. I have had to change two of them. However, that is the easy part. These boots have a horrible fit. I have spent hours heating the liner, adjusting the shell and doing all I could to make them fit, without result. Spent 20+ days in them and they are still far from good. Furthermore the lean forward I find way too agressive for me. In summary, I will sell / dump these boots and get something new for next season. Don't buy!!!!!
